Light not working on my Hampton Bay Windward 54 in ceiling fan
I very recently changed the light on my Hampton Bay Windward 54 inch ceiling fan and the light worked for about a week or two and then the light no longuer works. The fan itself has power and works but not the light.

My fan was working fine last winter. When I returned from the South, the remote would not cause the fan or light to operate. I replaced the batteries in the remote to no avail. My guess would be either the receiver or the transmitter has failed. But I don't know how to check it. Any ideas?
Light went out on fan; replaced fluorescent light bulb (round thing) and now fan works fine off the remote but light will not come on. Any ideas? Thanks, C
