Establishing the location of Air intake to chimney on furnace?
I just had a new furnace/AC installed, working fine. Question relates too the proximity of the air intake to the exhaust. They are side by side, with the intake coming out of the house approx 1 inch with a 90 degree angle pointing down, the exhaust comes straight out about 12 inches with no angles up or down.
Is this a workable set up?

The only real way to be sure is to read the manufactures installation instructions for your specific unit.
