    Traffic fines
As a result of not being able to keep up my payments with the courts, they have sent my debt to a collection agency. With interest and fines it's a huge amount of money. What would be the best way to try. And get the amounts reduced so I can pay them off?

The Court is not going to negotiate with you - these are fines, not purchases.

Has the Court threatened to jail you if the fines are not paid? Usually fines are in lieu of some other type of sentence. If the fines are not paid the case(s) can be put back on the calendar for reconsideration.
