    I have a cindar block wall in my basement and there is something ozzes through the wall and the middle of this substance is tar like, when u sweep it off the wall it turns to an ash, any idea what this is?

    I have a substance that is breaking through my cindar block in the basement. It has a tar like middle but yet when u wipe it off it turns to ash, Any idea what this could be?
