What should you do if your girlfriend wants a break?
My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year and a 1/2 and all of a sudden she wants a break. I'll admit our relationship has been a routine and hasn't been fun but I really love this girl and don't want to lose her. She says she's 20 and wants to feel like she's 20 because she's never had that experience before because of her strict parents. So she wants time to hang out with her friends and think. Our relationship ended with a 2 month break but she still wants to talk to me within that period, which makes no sense.

Why would you talk to me if you need a break? I honestly put a lot of effort in this relationship to lose her now. She says she loves me and doesn't want to hurt me but she did. Also at the same time we agreed to go date each other again but she didn't take this break as in "I want to see other people". She just wants a taste of the single life supposedly. I don't agree with it but if that’s what she wants I’ll give it to her.
Should I still talk to her?
Should we go on the dates?
Do you think she wants me to try harder as a boyfriend?
And if so should I do it now that she wants her break?

What should you do if your girlfriend wants a break?

You give it to her, and leave her alone to enjoy it. YOU, take the time to do your thing and enjoy yourself like she will never come back. You love for her is not equal to her love for you.She wants to explore and have fun with NO rules,or boundaries. Let her,but she CANNOT have her cake and eat it to.

That's why you have fun and not available for this break/breakup crap, that has you hurt miserable and wondering while she parties her azz off, free as a bird without responsibility,or commitment.

She will never miss you if you are always eager, and available to her. So disappear, and if she wants you she will chase you,and her efforts will be clear. You deserve more than a friendly catch up chat when she has time.

The best part of disappearing, being unavailable, and doing your own thing is you keep your dignity, and self respect.
