Okay so I got my cartilage done during my spring break. I got it done at a piercing place & they used a gun (I have now learned using guns isn't the best way to go) anyway, I stopped regularly cleaning it about 2 weeks ago(I was using antiseptic). I also started to not turn the earing as much. About 5 days ago it started hurting when I slept on it but I just figured it was because I piece of my hair got caught in it really bad (I have long hair) but it still hurts very bad. The front of the earring seems to be imbedded into my ear. I think skin may have grown around it but I'm not positive. I also cannot take the stud out (it is very painful when I try) but ear turns very red when I try to do so & it begins to throb as well. Is it infected? Should I continue to try to take the earring out? Help!
