    Judgement proofing my assets
I have a disputed balance with a credit card company. They won't adjust or stop adding what I consider huge charges to the balance. I expect them to soon seek a judgement.

    What can I do?

    Hello Ugene:

What kind of assets are you considering making judgment proof? Of course, if you transfer assets out of your name just to avoid a judgment, that's considered fraud. Fraud is a criminal offense.

The main asset is my house. I don't want a lien filed against it since I plan to sell the house in early spring. Thanks for your ideas.

You need to sell it now, any other movement would merely be fraud, and they can still attach it and cause you issues if you don't.

To be judgement proof, no bank accounts what so ever, no job with no salary they can garnish, and sell all of your property.

hi, I am installing a neo-angle shower. I have elected to build a false wall instead of going right to the joists (due to lath & plaster walls and that even those studs would not be straight). Then I shimmed everything and strapped with 2x4. I put up some special drywall for showers I bought...
