Desperate to get two bulbs out of two very very narrow glass shades
I have a Victorian ceiling chandelier that has 3 Northwood hand blown glass shades. Very valuable. I am trying to get the bulbs out of two. One has a narrow pointed bulb that is turning the wire as I try to unscrew it, thereby twisting the wire and getting no where.

The other has a wide bulb that I cannot remember how it got in there. There is no room for my fingers as the bulb and the shade are but a quarter inch or so apart. I must get these two bulbs out so I can remove the shades and pack them for moving.

I am alone and I once tried to break a bulb and I almost broke the shade. I am afraid to risk this on my own. How do I get those two bulbs out?

    Thanks,
    Bonnie

We have 4 Hamptonbay ceiling fans installed in our home. They are all the same and everyone has a broken metal clip that holds the glass shade on. Most light kits have 3 screws that hold the glass on. Not Hamptonbay! Has anyone cameup with a fix for this problem? Randy
