    A quote I use a lot to answer questions is ''Opinions are changed as easy as feelings are.'' Change her brother's opinion although I think you meant to say mother like homegirl said

    Well it depends on how old the girl friend is and how old he is. If this mother is wanting to take her out of school to keep her away from him, it's best to know the reason before telling him to change her opinion.
