Hello there, looking for some solid ideas about my boyfriend's probation. He pled guilty a year ago (at the age of 18) to destruction of property (some spray painting with a bad influence buddy on people's property). He was sentenced to 17 months probation with $1200 restitution to be paid to a few diff. people and 150 community hours. The date is coming up quickly and he will only have a little over half of the restitution paid off and will be lacking just under 10 hours. He has been in and out of jobs but our city's unemployment rate is very high and has had a very hard time juggling all three responsibilities (work, hours, money) and finishing school. Will this be considered a breach of probation and will they have him locked up? His probation officer is very confused herself and has sent him on a wild goose chase around the city and he still does not know who to talk to about an extension. Something she herself admits she is "not sure who". Please help ASAP!
