Remote controlled Hampton Bay fan
I have a Hampton Bay fan w/ lights and an aftermarket remote. Remote battery was replaced and now we rarely get high speed to work. Occasionally it will switch to hi but mostly it runs slower than low at all times. If I connect it direct at the wall will I fry the fan & remote on the fan?

How do I reverse the blades on a Hampton Bay remote controlled fan. There is nothing on remote to indicate reversing blades. IT is on a rod from a very high 18 foot ceiling. It has up and dow lighting. Remote has numbers of JUO7078T on it.
