    NJ condo law
My condo is in foreclosure. I have back condo fees to pay. I rec'd a civil summons but never rec'd anything from the association about arbitration dispute resolution. Am I entitled to ADR? Also, for 7 months, the bank illegally locked me out of the condo. Do I have to pay those 7 months of fees when I had no ownership rights? Is there any protection for this? Thank you.

Whether you have ADR or not would be in the association by-laws.

As for the fees, they are charged to all owners for maintenance of the common areas. So yes you have to pay them.

Is your condo unit in foreclosure or is the whole complex in foreclosure. If it is only your unit, then your being locked out is between you and the bank and has nothing to do with you and the association.

If you were illegally locked out, then that would be the subject of a law suit between you and the bank.
