My BF & I were in Walmart Sunday& were trying on sunglasses & hats we were being silly went to toy section&rode bicycles while trying on sunglasses my boyfriend put a pair on me& I pushed them back in my.hair on top of my head the pair he was trying he put on his ballcap we checked out with them on our heads then walked into the clearance section which is beside where u walkout at. My boyfriend kept showing me $1 clearance t shirts & I kept saying lets go well obviously he hung one up on the side of buggy or tossed it over the side & honestly without my knowing & we walked out w it there. We went to parking lot walked half way across lot BC we had parked on otherside & we seen his parents out there we stood there& ate an ice cream then loaded car& as we were sitting in car about to pullout I seen a Walmart employee walking toward the car&I thought he was going to open our car door but instead he grabbed a buggy beside us and our buggy we had emptied & walked off. Well that was Sunday.. Monday night someone called& said they seen a picture of my boyfriend.on the city hall/police station desk well his mom knew someone who worked down there @city hall& they said Walmart had both of us for.shoplifting sunglasses & a shirt valued at $27 but there wasn't a warrant or anything.. yet. Today is wendseday so I thought about calling down there& telling Walmart we just noticed these items not on receipt& realized We had walked out with them & didn't know what.to.do... someone else told me to leave IT alone& not do anything. This happen in Tennessee. I was wanting to.know if anyone knows what will happen? Or what shld I do? Should I call Walmart or should I.leave it alone will they issue a warrant or mail a letter? Thanks I feel stupid & ashamed just for the record
