    Termination of parental rights
My ex husband has not paid support in over two years and has not had any contact with our child in over a year. This has been his choice there has been no calls no nothing. My understanding is that after a year of no conact I could go to court and seek termination of his rights. My question is can I do this and how do I do this. I have no interst in his money or anything else from him so that is not what I want. My current husband wished to adopt my child can this be done?

Have you contacted your ex to see if he will allow an adoption? If so then proceed with the adoption.
