    I assume you mean brakes? John Deere 240?

    Hi,
    On the right side of the transaxle is a rod that serves to adjust the wet brakes. Loosen nut 46 in front of the link and turn the back one clockwise. You may need to move the front one quite a bil or a small amount. Best to lock the park brake and keep checking for engagement. Be sure to lock the front back down against the ferrul when done. Picture attached.
