    Lost my father
I am trying to deal with so much. I lost my father a month ago. My mom and him had been married 52 years. It has been hard me to digest. I have people that are so-called friends that were not there for me during the grieving process. I have accepted that. Now my question is: How do I move on to a. Healthy and positive life? I am so tensed and depressed

I am sorry to hear about your Dad, I know it is a very difficult time for you. There is no road map to dealing with death. You will have good days and bad days. Just try to take it one day at a time and try to do something's that you enjoy.

Don't worry about what everyone says you should do as far as grieving you need to handle it in your own way.

I wish you the very best

This will take time. When our dad (healthy as a horse) died of a massive heart attack in1994, we put together a scrapbook of favorite quotes and stories about and pictures of him and gave it to our mom (and we each got a copy). We planted a tree in his honor. We have always included him in our conversations, even talking about the goofy and strange things he used to do. He is in our thoughts and words every day. And we are all still grieving in our own way.
