    Being evicted from council house
    Hi, I have a council house, and they are evicting me on the 21st June - what can I do to stop them (the council) from kicking me and my family out of my home..

    Was paying £40 a week for the arrears, missed two week payement for my daugther birthday..

    What can I do to stop them with th eviction...

    Sure. It was more important that your daughter have a party, presents, and all the fixings than a roof over her head. Anybody would agree to that.

    There is only one thing more important than keeping a roof over your head and that's food on the table.

    You were already behind on your rent and you skipped payments?

    I don't know what the process is where you live (I assume it's the UK). But unless you can come up with a settlement they will agree to, then you will be evicted. They may decide that you need to pay ALL the arrears before they stop the eviction process.
