You can't do anythng, your father can ask for a transfer but to be honest, your location is really no concern of theirs and don't expect it to mean anything to anyone.

They move inmates in federal prison for security reasons, for their security level, for programs they are required to be in, because of racial make up of cell blocks and prisons, for gang membership and other reasons.

    Hello family:

The BOP has a policy to house prisoners CLOSE to their home. Ordinarily, they VIOLATE their own policies ALL the time.. Consequently, it's up to the public to FORCE them.

First thing is to acquire a copy of the Policy and Procedures Manuel that covers this issue.. Write to them in Washington, D.C. and request this manual.. Then write a letter to the warden CITING the rule and ask him to adhere to it.. Your father needs to ALSO request a transfer from INSIDE at the same time... They'll probably IGNORE your letter...

The next thing, is to write a letter to the judge asking him to REQUEST of BOP to transfer him... They'll probably IGNORE the judge too.

Then you need to SUE them, and for that you'll need an attorney.
