Why are my joints making cracking noises?
I am 14 and have been working out for 6 months now and I have noticed that my joints seem to be making cracking and popping noises. Before I started working out I could only crack my fingers. But now, I get cracking noises from my elbows, shoulder joints, upper back and neck. I also feel that I have to stretch a lot more.
Why are my joints making cracking noises and why do I feel I have to stretch more?

And before people start telling me I am too young to be working out. I am sensible about it, I do not do deadlifts or squats. That is just silly. And I do not do any exercise that compresses my spine.

    Thanks

Cracking noises, 28 year old house [ 2 Answers ]

I have lived in my 28 year old house since it was built. The settling noises stopped at least 18 years ago. About 3 years ago loud cracking noises started, that sound like they are coming from the ceiling or attic. The house is a single story built on a concrete slab. About 14 years ago we had new...
