I have been with my boyfriend for 10 years. We also grew up together and so did our parents. Since we were younger he always told me he loved me but I never knew if I felt the same. Then when I was 14 I was forced to move to Puerto Rico. About a year later he showed up there still telling me that he loved me. So I moved back to the states when I was 16.One day my best friend since kindergarten was sleeping over my house ( at this time we weren't together but I was considering it ) and he tried to sleep with her. I stopped talking to her, but he was still coming around telling me he loved me and blah blah blah. So I decided hey what the hell and everything was going fine. Now 10 years and 2 beautiful kids later we are still together BUT I have been inviting a couple girls I work with to my house to hang out and I noticed that they are very flirty (all three of them) and he acts oblivious to what's happening but then he says well maybe your flirting with guys at work and that's why they flirt with me which isn't the case I keep to myself plus I don't have a lot of self confidence to be talking to other people. I was telling my friend about my kindergarten friend last month and she tells me oh well I have something to tell you he texted me a few times last month she saved the messages and there was nothing bad in the messages one message said "Sorry i hope Kathy doesn't stay mad I hope she cools out Danielle talks too much about what we do have a good night peace" he was apologizing because that day I flipped on both of them for holding and swinging hands he pulled away and she started it. Then he texted her again "Hey I have something to tell you and your the only one I trust but don't text back Kathy will be home soon I'll call you on Tuesday bye" He never called but did send this other message "Hey I was going to talk to you but I have other things going on right now don't text back peace." Now during this time him and I were talking about getting married.So I asked him why were you texting her and he said" I needed someone to talk to about getting you a wedding ring." now you would think I would feel stupid but I knew that was bull because I don't even like that girl good enough to even invite to my wedding she is so shady I don't trust her and will never trust her. So I asked him again and again and he finally tells her cause I made them talk by themselves but little did they know that I was listening the whole time and he tells her HE LIKES HER I feel so hurt and confused He told me he loved me since we were kids and then this keeps happening I don't know what to do I don't want to throw my family away But I don't know how to get past this

Sounds to me like you have some trust issues. I would work on those before considering marrying him, before you go and deny that take a look at these points carefully.

Unless you told your boyfriend specifically that you wouldn't like her, he would have no idea that you don't like her, and correct me if I'm wrong, was she not one of the girls you invited over? So you sure fooled him.

Now forcing them to talk together alone is childish and immature, let alone listening in on the conversation.

He's been with you for 10 years, and you have two kids. Unless you have downright proof that he's cheating on your or trying to, I think you have nothing to worry about, I can tell you're just relating this all back to that girl that slept over all those years ago, I can tell because it shouldn't have anything to do with this story but it's there in writing.
