I will sound fairly rude, take some sales courses, get a partner who can do sales. It is all sales in getting accounts, there will be dozens of people like you wanting that same contract, you will have to find them, talk to them, find out if they are in a contract, know when to bid and more.

This is why 1/2 of the people go out of business first year.

Chuck is right on, nothing happens if you are not able to sell. You have to become knowledgeable of your service, you have to be the expert.

Why do you say that you are not a good sales person? If you want to have any success you have to go and talk to people about your business and tell them why they should choose your company, it won't happen until you do.

Are you looking to clean homes or businesses?

You will need to find out how the other companies bid, learn how they do their work, learn how likes them, who does not. You have to talk to the right people in a business, this is not always the owner but can be a purchasing agent, it may be a maintenance engineer or a janitorial manager or supervisor. So you need to find out in each company who is the person to make the choice.

You need to find out why they want to change, or show them why they should. It is not always price.
