My John Deere briggs and stratton will not start. I have installed a new fuel pump, cleaned the lines and filter. I can put fuel in the carborator, it will start but not keep running.

I work for a company called Gold Eagle Co. and we make a product specifically for this sort of problem. The product is called Start Your Engines! And it works like a drain cleaner, but for your small engine's fuel system. It will clean out any gunk in your engine very quickly and get rid of rough idle.

Hi,
If this is a mass merchant machine(L, LA, etc.) it could be a pinched fuel line at the tank(back of the machine) or a fuel line that has come loose from the pickup tube(left side beneath seat and fender deck.)
