John deere 240 mower won't start?
I bought a JD 240 mower. Put in a new battery and it won't even turn over or make a sound. I believe it must be some sort of skill switch or gear position that is causing the problem. Any ideas?Could a broken parking brake keep it from starting?

1) I just purchased a John Deere 110 riding mower... when trying to start it the engine turns but won't catch... I've read the manual and pretty certain I've got everything set properly.. What am I missing! 2) Can you jump start if battery dies?
How do reinstall the main drive belt on a model 240 John Deere riding mower (38" deck)
It has a brand new battery... new fuel filter since old one was all sludge filled... Husband says it doesn't seem to be getting any gas... can't find any cracks in hoses Any suggestions?
