    Ejector Pump
I am building a new basement bathroom and have most of the work completed and passed by the inspector. He is however telling me that the Ejector Pump needs to tie into a 4" soil pipe. Is this Chicago code? I have it tied into the existing 3" stack.

    Thanks

    Hi Joe,
The fixture vent can tie back to any dry vent but the pit vent MUST be dedicated.
I believe the exception to this is a Saniflow system. Good luck, Tom
