Can my ex friend take me to court based on a verbal agreement?
Long story short. My ex roommate is threating me that she wants more money then she should be getting to pay the electric bill and rent and myself and my other roommate recently found out that she's been spending the rent money on herself due to her not having a job. She paid three months of my part of the rent when I was jobless but I have made up more than that now that she's been out of work due to her workers comp. has stopped. She threatened me if I don't pay her back the money and more she's going to take me to court but we didn't write any agreement that I would pay her back. And Im pretty sure she didn't keep the receipts when she did pay. So can she win in court?

Yes you may take someone to small claims court using just a verbal agreement.

I am hearing your side, she will tell her side, I am sure somewhat different. It can go from how good a day the judge is having, or more. In many cases, you will need as much evidence as you can, canceled checks, witnesses who knew what was happening.
