    Why does only one of my electrical outlets work
    My house is 5 years old I have a problem the top of one of my electrical outlets don't work the bottom one does it eas the one the garbage desposal was plugged into if I have to replace the whole outlet is it possible to do it myself or have a professional do it.

    Is it possible that the disposal was plugged into this and operated by
    A switch located nearby? Does the part of the receptacle that is not working
    Turn on with this nearby switch?
    If not, how does the disposal operate?
