    Electrical outlets won't work
I was using the electric lawn mower and ran over the cord. I bought a new cord and the lawn mower wouldn't work as well as the hair dryer in one bathroom and the electric cat litter box in the 2nd bathroom. I tried resetting the circuit breakers but these things still did not come on. Is there a special reset button somewhere?

Yes, there is a GFI somewhere that is tripped. Look outside, in the garage, or in one of the bathrooms.

I'm afraid that I have a cat that likes to spray it's territory and sometimes it does it on the electrical outlets. Of course, then you see sparks from the wire getting wet. I have two separate bathrooms at opposite ends of the house. The plug-ins have been work find until this week. They both have the test and reset buttons on the front of them. One is red and the other one is black. I have checked the buttons. They are fine. I have pushed the rest button and it...

Electrical outlets not working [ 2 Answers ]

I was updating a rental property that I recently purchased and decided to replace the outlets and light switches as they had been painted over many times. Out of the 15 outlets I changed, four are not working and I have no idea why. A couple of them (the ones that are not working) are connected...

Electrical Outlets [ 1 Answers ]

I have two outlets in my bathroom that supports a washer and dryer. One out is a reset outlet and the other is a normal standard outlet. I replaced both and only the reset outlet is working. How come the standed outlet has no power? The white and black wires are connected correctly.
