    Leep procedure complications?
I had a keep procedure done 2.5 weeks ago, and have bled since. It has been much, much heavier than my normal period, but not filling a pad in an hour. More like 3 hours. But the last couple days I have had bad cramping when I try to lay down to sleep. Is this normal?

While the bleeding can continue for several weeks, generally it shouldn't be much heavier than a normal period. If it continues to increase in amount, and/or your cramping increases, best to let your doctor know. When in doubt, give them a call. The peace of mind is worth it.

I've had the colposcopy done, and it was more nerve racking than anything. Some pain for a couple of days after, but nothing too bad. I'm...

Leep procedure and bleeding [ 1 Answers ]

I have recently had the leep procedure done at hospital for abnormal cells of the cervix. It had been 11 days since my surgery and I am still bleeding, not heavily, wondering how long the bleeding will last. I was menstruating at time of surgery and the doctor did not use the paste afterwards to...
