Hello. I am trying to use leftovers from my living room and do the laminate stairs.
The only thing that I have a problem with are the edges. The only thing that I found available is the aluminum stair edges but the look way too ugly.

Also my laminate has underlyer glued to it already so if I do nothing with the edges the underlyer is visible.

Did someone ever experience the same problem? Please advise.

Most people do not use laminate flooring for stairs. For that reason their isn't that much in the way of other stuff to use. The easiest thing to do is get some oak assuming your floor is oak or get any type of wood that you can stain to match the color of your floor. And shoot it to the front and side of each tread where you see the raw edge. You will need to use some wood glue and finish nails from a nail gun at least 2 inchs long. You can hire a carpenter to make it fancy with a decorative edge done with a router or go to Lowe's better than hd and pick out some sort of door casing or moulding that they stock. This will not be an easy one to do. It will take some skill to make it look like it was not just an after thought.

The aluminum edges in annodized gold really don't look too bad. I used that for one stair or the landing area.

I also had to do some stairs with the funky moulding. I think there would be damage when using a hand truck. It was suggested to use 3 wood screws for a typical stair.

I did have one tricky section to do where I removed some laminate and glued it on the edge of the moulding with contact cement. 15-20 years later, it's still there. It's a lot of work.
