    Fan switch doesn't work
Our ceiling fan hasn't worked for awhile. We finally got around to having an electrician come out and change the switch. However, we came home and the switch still isn't working. When touching the black and red wires the fan turns on. However, when the switch is connected it doesn't work. The electrician had the same problem. We know the fan itself works and that the wires work. We have now gone through 3 different switches so I don't think it is that. Any ideas of what to check?
