Hampton bay ceiling fan with halogen lights
This is not my fan so don't know it's history.
But all of the lights stopped working, but the fan still works and they are both connected to the same wall switch. Can't find a remote but I think it may have had one. How do I rewire it for no remote. It dose have halogen lights. I think it had a remote because there is a little black plastic part in the light base and it has a black red and blue wire connected to it.

Brand and model would help. Receivers are normally inside the canopy so start by reming that. Receivers are boxish with 2-3 wires coming in from the ceiling box and 3-4 wires exiting to the fan and light. The light power wire is most often blue
