Im a 38 year old uncircumcised male. About 6 months ago I got a yeast infection from my girlfriend and after taking fluconazole and my itchiness cleared up it seemed the symptoms would always come back. I used monistat cream almost daily for several weeks and that seemed to be the only relief. I stopped using the cream and started taking acidophilus as well as cutting back on sugars. The itchiness is mostly gone however now when I am semi erect, if I squeeze the shaft forcing blood to the glans, the glans looks like it has a bumpy surface all over but underneath the skin. The surface still feels smooth but looks bumpy almost like goosebumps. Also when I get erect it feels itchy at first then when fully erect there is no itch. I also now use baby powder on my glans under my foreskin cause I find any accumulation of moisture makes me itchy. I have been tested for everything except herpes. I have no pain urinating, no discharge, no blisters but am wondering if this could be from overuse of monistat or even herpes. It has been happening for 6 months now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
