My current landlord is giving me bad references due to retaliation
Can I sue my current landlord for slander she is retaliating against me for calling code complince because she did not want to fix the plumbing.she is giving me a bad reference to the landlords who are calling her because I am trying to move.

If it stops you from getting a place and if what they are saying is false.
For example what is being asked, often I ask, would you rent to them again, if he would not, it is not slander it is just that he would not. If he says you were late on rent, can he prove it ? If he said you left with damages, would that be true ? |
