    1098T question
My daughter is a full time postgraduate student with a full scholarship covering all tuition and fees. She received her 2011 1098T with the scholarship of $18,000 on it,which is equal to the tuition and the fees paid in 2011. As far as I know, the scholarship is not taxable as it is used completely for her tuition/fees.

My question is:when she file her tax return, does she need to do anything with 1098T, i.e. attach 1098T to her tax return?

    Huge thanks in advance!

She should keep the Form 1098-T for her records; there is NO requirement to attach it to the tax return.
