    Changing existing fan switch
When changing a fan switch on a wall that is on a plate with a light switch, do I need an actual fan switch, or will a regular light switch work for the fan. This is a simple bathroom fan, with both switches on the outside of the bathroom.

Just a standard switch, same as a light switch, is fine.
