    Ceiling fixture nightmare
Hi. I removed a 2 bulb light fixture from my kitchen ceiling. I have not put the new fixture up yet for 2 reasons. 1. After removing the fixture the entire line of lights on the circuit will not turn on. 2. The wiring from the junction box where the old fixture was looks unfamiliar to me. I put a new fuse in the box thinking it may have gone bad causing the light in the other room and vent cover to not work but this did not help.

The wires from the box consist of a white wire, a black wire, a bare copper wire and a more dense nickel colored wire. Thanks.
