Our periods are odd, it's normal for them to change.

If you have an odour, irritation, or are having sex without contraception, then you should worry.

Thank you for your reply, no I don't have any of the above symptoms.
Just to add on to my question- for the past year, 3/4's of the time I have been getting them light and often (though it never lasted 2 weeks) and I was just wondering if its normal to be irregular for a year? Is there any thing I can do naturally to make them come less often?

As DaniCalifornia said, this can be completely normal, and many women have irregular periods. As long as you are not in pain, have itching, redness, or odor, you are probably fine. Are you young? Under 20? If so, simply your age could be the reason you are irregular. Many teens and early 20s tend to have unpredictable periods. For a lot of women, this continues on into their 30s or longer. If you are wanting help regulating your period, I suggest going to your doctor and discussing options. (your doctor will also be able to make sure there are no underlying issues to be concerned with) Most doctors would prescribe birth control to help get you on a regular schedule. Since you asked for natural ways, I am guessing you are opposed to birth control pills. Discuss with your doctor what other options will be best for you based on your medical history and age. Good luck!
