Ok guys I am going to keep this quick. My now ex girlfriend cheated on me with her ex, and still wanted to be with me. But I broke it off. Before anyone asks, she is 18, and so am I and we have known each other since 9/18/09, and 3 years later we decide to be boyfriend, and girlfriend. We were only together 5 month before I found out she was cheating on me.

I was wondering did I do the right thing to break up with her, and was 3 years of being just friends staying in the friend zone to short??

The 3 years in the friend zone mean nothing compared to the 5 months you spent as a couple. But you were absolutely correct to dump this lying cheater.
