    Infertility problems
We are trying to conceive from last 2 years but not successful. My weight is 108 kgs. My Ovulation cycle is fine however my endrometrium thickness is low and I have menustral flow of only 2 days. My husband's sperm count is 50 million with 20% motility. Please advise.

    Hi ramprvari... welcome to AMHD,

Do you know if you have had a post-coital test done? Have you both been seen by a reproductive endocrinologist? Are your menstrual cycles regular or do you skip periods every so often? What sort of hormonal testing have you had done? For some women, weight can play a role. It can also be a sign of other conditions that may cause more difficulty in becoming pregnant.

Your husband's sperm count is within the norm, but motility is quite low. Contrary to popular belief, it does take more than one sperm for pregnancy to take place. One sperm penetrates the egg, but many others will play a role in allowing that to happen. A good number of sperm is helpful, but if most of those are not moving as they should it will make becoming pregnant more difficult.

If you haven't seen a reproductive endocrinologist, that would be something to speak to your gp about. What has your doctor suggested so far? What has been discussed?
