Marriage in a Crisis
My husband was arrested for being caught with drugs(very minor).I bail him out with a fine of $1000.He recently left to Mexico as an emergency and still had a fine to pay for that (remaining of $400)but he is not legal here and we are married.I'm a US Citizen.He is to have one final court in May-2012 but will not be able to attend it.At this point my concern and question is will this affect him?If we want to fix his legal status?I will be paying that balance off but he will not be showing up to court. what will happen?Please advice.I'm very worry and would want to know if I can help him out in any way.He was to go to court just for a completion of his classes(which he did complete).
