The police officer did not sign the affadavit on my ticket fospe
I received a ticket for driving 29 in a school zone. After looking at the ticket, I see that the officer did not sign the ticket. There is a specific area labeled Affidavit, which requires his signature, and a witness. Is this still considered a legal ticket?

A ticket never requires a "witness" without looking at the ticket, this may be for some other purpose. Does the ticket list the offers name and/or badge number, and a place for you to sign? We did not have the affadavit on ours, but it may well be for the ticket to be ( his copy) given to the court if he can not appear in court, for him to sign and witness to be entered into evidence if he can not appear in court ( this is just a guess, but it is not even possible to have a ticket witnesses, so obviously this is for other purpose) Also normally the back of the ticket is for you to sign if you merely mail it in. From how all of our tickets were.
