    Jaundice
    Jaundice, intense itch, putty coloured stools, nausea, dark urine, scan found nothing, sent her home, she is 80 years old and has to wait for an appointment for further tests.

    Intense itch where ? What scan?

    We can't diagnose here but your post alarms me. This elderly person may have liver disease, kidney failure, a host of ailments and you are saying a 'scan' showed NOTHING, and has to WAIT for an appt. for further tests. Sorry I can't believe this.

    Did they not do blood work, urine tests ?
