We can't diagnose here but your post alarms me. This elderly person may have liver disease, kidney failure, a host of ailments and you are saying a 'scan' showed NOTHING, and has to WAIT for an appt. for further tests. Sorry I can't believe this.

Did they not do blood work, urine tests ?
