I recently started to date a wonderful woman. She is sweet, nice, intelligent, funny, loving, caring, everything I could ever want in a woman. We used to talk like crazy, every chance we got, for hours. And then recently, as in like a few days ago, a friend of hers, an 11B (****in infantry) in the US Army, and yes, I am an ADA in the US Army as well, called her and said he was going to off himself unless she agrees to be with him and wait for him while he deploys in a year. She said she was feeling like it was her fault and all that. I told her it wasn't. She told me she has no feelings whatsoever for the guy, except as a friend and then, oddly enough, that same day, she began to push me away. Where as we used to talk for hours, now I am lucky if I can talk to her for even 30 minutes a day anymore. And then as of two days ago, that abruptly ended. Now she won't even speak to me. And the last time she talked to me, she said she loved me and how I was the only guy she wanted to be with and all that, but yet she is pushing me away. Why? I have told her how I felt twice in those two days and she said she felt the same way, but yet refuses to contact me at all and when I try to contact her, everything is always voicemail or on Yahoo, never gets answered and I know she has Yahoo on her phone and all that. I try and call her maybe once every twelve hours or so. Now what makes it even more confusing is that in the days leading up to her pushing me away, she has told me things about herself nobody knows and that she loves me. If that is true, why is she pushing me away so hard? I really don't want to loose her, and I am not the sort of person that is clingy or mean or rude or anything. I have showed her nothing but kindness, understanding, and all that. Because she doesn't want an ******* and I am not an ******* by an means. Hell she even had me meet her parents too about a week ago. And they said "Damn girl, he seems very nice and seems to love you. You should keep me." But now, everything is looking pretty bleak from my end and I want to know if anyone has any ideas as to why she would start pushing me away so hard? Because I am confused and I am just curious. As I stated before, I don't want to loose her. This is my 4th time dating. My first and third girlfriends left for 11B in the military and my second one tried to kill me. I had no idea she was crazy until that night. And I will be damned if I walk away and let another 11B take another girlfriend from me. And all over the fact that he is a childish and immature ******* that has to use suicide threats to get what he wants. If anyone can offer me some insight, I would appreciate it.

Maybe this guy is threatening her not to contact you. From the way you say it, it seems she is(or was!) serious about you.

Is there anyway you can find out what she's up to and whether this 'friend' of her is forcing her to stay away from you or not?
