What is the cost to convert crossover plumbing to y?
How do you determine if your plumbing is a crossover rather than a Y? The plumbing in our two bathrooms, built circa 1963, is back to back. If it is a crossover, what is the average cost to convert from crossover to Y? I want to purchase two flush assisted toilets like the Toto Carlyle II and understand you can't install them if there is crossover plumbing.

    Hi Nwoods...

If built in the 60s then most likely you have a cross tee fitting installed... ;)

To guess at the cost would be irresponsible really as each town/state charges so differently it would be no different than throwing a dart at a dart board! Call some local plumbers for free estimates. I am sure there are plenty of companies glad to work with you on this.

    Good luck!
