    Probation for a DUI - how long can they prevent you from leaving the country?
    My boyfriend just got his second DUI - it was plead down to a DWAI. But it is his second one. He is in the pre-trial phase where he is taking random BAs and UAs until his sentencing in April. He will undoubtedly do 10 days in jail, 2nd level alcohol classes, and a year or more of probation. Can they prevent him from being able to leave the country for the duration of his probation?

    Not only the country but also the state, he will have to get his PO permission to leave the state he lives in and permission to leave the country
