    Peristalsis issue
Hi, my cat has a problem with peristalsis, where his bowels do not move the poo down and out like they are supposed to.he does not go up to a week at atime then will go anywhere in the house that's available(which is very frustrating, because he uses box too)
The poo is all dried up and hard and large lumps. He drinks excessive amounts of water.have tried meds to help, labs are normal.unsure what we can do.would like for him just to use litter box, sometimes it seems he is going elsewhere just to do it.thanks

Since you know what the medical issue is, have tried medication and the labwork appears to be normal, have you spoken with the vet again? What was his/her recommendation?
