I have a question regarding obtaining a passport
I am felon, the felony is 7 years old, it was for distribution of drugs. I know I am able to obtain a passport but do you know of countries where I would not be allowed to travel? I am sure there has to be a few places. Are Europe, Asia, or Africa off limits? I have tried looking this up but only find conflicting answers, perhaps someone can be of help, thank you.

    Hello j:

A passport is nothing more than identification.. I can't tell you, though, which countries will issue a visa, and which ones won't.

You can always ( almost) get a passport, it is the visa to enter the various nations, Africa is many countries and not one place as is "asia" you will have to check with the embassy of each nation you wish to enter what their specific guidelines are.

    Hell j:

If asked, and I were an Italian immigration official, I'd say NO! They have NO upside in giving you permission and LARGE downside... I wouldn't ask. I'd just go...
