Dating a man who who is responsible for a non biological child with no rights!
Where to begin. I have been dating a man who has been responsible for a child who is not biologically his for the last 5 years. He knew the child was not his but since he was with his mother he has raised him has his own. They have not been together since a year after he was born and he has taken financial responsibility with no help what so ever from the mother. She hardly takes him and when she does she gripes about having to make him mind. She just gives him what he want and feeds him junk to keep him from misbehaving. When she found out that my boyfriend and I were dating she went crazy. She has been married to another man for a few years now and has had another child with her husband. She threatens my boyfriend with taking the child from him, calling the police saying that he has kidnapped the child, all these things. In the next breathe saying she doesn't want her son, asking to be left alone when contacted on her days to pick him up because she doesn't want him. Explains on multiple occasions how she is just going to commit suicide. All of this because she doesn't want her son around me. I'm not trying to take her place has his mother. I'm there more for him than his mother. When he talks to his mother she tells him to call me names I won't mention on here that's how bad they are. And she is saying this to a 5 year old. She dictates everything that has to be done she decides everything. While doing nothing but causing her son more harm. I love children. And when it comes down to situations like this I only care about the child's well being. It's not fair to him and he will be the one hurt in the long run. None of this is his fault. His mother plays games and dangles this child over a mans head who has chosen himself to take care of a child that's not even his own. But he has no legal rights. He can't enroll him in school he can't do anything with him. She calls all the shots while not helping with nothing. He is 95% of the time with my boyfriend and his family. Does anyone know what he can or what he needs to do to get something legal to where she can't keep threatening of taking the child? And the biological father is no where around and has no want to be. I'm not trying to get in between him and this child I'm just trying to find out what to do so the child is no longer used as a toy. He doesn't deserve that. He is just a child in a very messed up situation with people who want the best for him unlike his own mother.
