Sluggish 1991 Nissan pickup - Manual 4 cylinder
Hi all. My 1991 Nissan pickup is really sluggish and sputters in first and second gear. At first I thought it was just because it was cold out (cold for Arizona anyway) but even after it warmed up outside, it still sputters in first and second. The wiring harness that connects to the battery was replaced a couple of months ago, but I didn't have any problems until a couple of weeks ago. Any ideas?

Based on the age of the truck, I would replace the igniter, coil, spark plugs, rotor, and distributor cap. If you buy aftermarket parts, it should not cost too much and it should make a huge difference in performance and reliability.
